ABOUT:

Marie-Louise is an internationally published manicurist. She has worked within the beauty industry for over 25 years as a  freelance manicurist, salon owner and educator.

In 2018 Marie-Louise came 3rd in the UK Nail Tech Competition, and was named as one of Nails Magazine’s Next Top 24 Nail Artists in the World.  In 2016 and 2017 she was a finalist in the Scratch Star Awards, and in 2016 she was one of 150 nail technicians worldwide selected for the Nails:Mastered programme mentored by Marian Newman.

 

Marie-Louise has worked at Fashion Weeks in London, Paris and Milan, as well as Paris Haute Couture Week. 

She has been Lead Manicurist for Edward Crutchley, Kolchagov Barba, Stella Jean, Gilberto Calzolari, Osman, Tiziano Guardini, Shuting Qiu, Wesley Harriott, Renata Brenha, Sabirah Official  and Yuhan Wang as well as being the Lead Manicurist for a special Michael Kors event. 

 

Her work has been featured in Vogue, L’Officiel, Dazed, Esquire, Lucy’s Magazine, Lula, Imirage Magazine, Glass Magazine, Noctis Magazine and Boyfriend Magazine, among others, and she has worked on advertising campaigns for Gucci, Bottletoppers, Net-A-Porter, Rosie Assoulin, The Body Shop, Ciate, Lottie London, Mishi May, House of Frou Frou, Filthy Squirrel and Ming Jewellery.

Marie-Louise is currently available for all aspects of freelance work including editorial, press, PR events, session work and education.
